Welcome to Devon Heaven!

We breed a very special type of cat ...
the Devon Rex.

We raise Devons in our home in Illinois where our cats and kittens are cherished members of our family. We strive to raise healthy, well socialized, happy babies who will grow into affectionate, secure adults. Since we have a small breeding program,we only have a couple of litters a year.

Our first litter of Devons was born in April of 1996. We are completely enamored with this extraordinary breed. We show in CFA and are registered with that association.

Heavenly Father, thank you so much for blessing  us with these beautiful, joyful creatures. They  have brought us such happiness and taught us some very valuable and sometimes difficult lessons. Help us to make choices for them that will be in their best interest. Give us discernment in planning their futures and in providing them with care. Lord, we ask that you  guide us in making proper decisions about their health and well being and that you continue to  give our vet wisdom and an openness to new knowledge.  Send us pet homes where the cats will be cherished for their entire lifetimes and where concern for their health and emotional well being will come first in any decisions that will be made for them.  Father, remind those that have adopted cats/kittens from us that we will always be here to consult with and to offer support.

Lord Father, allow us to reflect Your love when we are showing our cats and help us to stay clear of the politics in the show hall.  Help us to stay focused on You and to be grateful for the opportunity we have to be doing something together that we love regardless of our status with the judges. Thank you Lord for the many wonderful people that we have met through our cats. They have been such blessings that enrich our lives greatly. Thank You, Father God, for our cattery and these little lives  we treasure so.
