In Santa Maria, CA Buckleigh has taken over the home
of
Adrienne and Michael. Adrienne is so taken with him that she
put
her incredible talent to use in creating the watercolor of Buckleigh
in
the orchids seen below. Thank you so much, Adrienne for sending
us a copy. It is simply beautiful.

" I wanted to send you some quick stories of my little monkey in feline's clothing. He is a continuous joy in not only my life, but everyone's life he comes into contact with. That little cat has warmed the hearts of more cat-haters than I can possibly count...everyone leaves my home saying, "I just can't believe that cat. I don't even like cats and I really like that one." Overnight visitors plead and plead to have him sleep with them. I always laugh and say, "Ok, but you'll be sorry. Marky loves to sleep on larynx and Adam's apples. He loves to lick ears and put his paws on eyeballs." His warm furry charm always wins them over and every single one of my friends has made the sincere attempt to sleep with him. Every morning I awake to find little Marky shut up in the kitchen. The very first time my parents came for a visit, my mother was standing in the kitchen talking on the phone. Marky was sitting at her feet looking up curiously. Before I could yell out a warning, that cat shot straight up into the air and spread-eagled himself across the front of my mother's shirt. You can imagine her shock! But she loves the cat, as does my cat-hating father...." |
